After the restructuring in the company, we have been dealing more with our colleagues in China - mainly via emails and calls. It really brightens up your day when you receive emails from people with the most interesting names.
My first encounter with a unique name was Cranex. Yes - my guess is maybe she cranes her neck a lot, hence the name Cranex.
And then, I spoke to someone called Cythera. I had to send an email to her after our call, and after repeated efforts and I still went "Huh? Could you repeat that please?", she finally spelled her name for me. Yeah, silly me. How can I not know how to spell Cythera. Duh...

There's a lady with the surname Foo, and she calls herself Beauty. Yup, Beauty Foo. Of course, came the inadvertent question, is she beautiful. Au contraire, apparently.
Another one who works at a travel agent - and can you guess what her name is? Holiday. No, she doesn't just sell holidays, her name is Holiday.
Roland knows a guy called Alpha. Who has a twin brother. A younger twin brother. Can anyone guess what the brother's name is? Bingo! Beta.
I can understand Forest, Spring, Beauty and even Alpha. But who in the right mind would call himself Chimpanzee?
